JUNIOR CLASSES IN BRIGHTON & SUSSEX

​Children are welcome to join the class from the age of 6.

Introducing children to Karate should be a safe and enjoyable experience for them. Typically, Karate practice is very serious and requires a high degree of concentration; however the class can be taught and structured to suit children. Ryushinkan Karate believe however that young children are capable of practicing traditional Karate-Do and that they will flourish in an environment with clear structure.

Achievement, self discipline, and awareness and coordination are some of the key skills to be gained from our Karate classes.
 
We aim to introduce students to the discipline through teachers with correct attitude and approach, making sure that every student is taught and respected as an individual. The style that we practice is non aggressive and the classes are safe and controlled. Children will be encouraged to progress at their own rate, making sure that every level of instruction is appropriate to their age, ability and understanding.
 
DBS checks, first aid training, Safeguarding children policies and comprehensive insurance schedules are requirements of our school.
 
All of our teachers commit to ongoing teacher training programs and all have experience of working with children.
